Vancouver Island Black Bear
This black bear was originally designed in winter/spring of 2026.
"Vancouver Island Black Bear"
Vancouver Island black bears are their very own subspecies of black bears. They are slightly darker and larger than black bears on the mainland. The island is the most densest population of black bears in the world! Coastal populations are well-known for foraging at low tide for crabs, clams, barnacles and feasting on spawning salmon in the fall.
