Our Story
Welcome to Ten Peaks Designs, where wilderness and artistry converge to bring the spirit of the Canadian Rockies into your home. Nestled amidst the rugged landscapes of Alberta, our business finds its inspiration in the untamed beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
At Ten Peaks Designs, we craft exquisite layered laser-cut wild animals that capture the essence of the majestic creatures inhabiting the Rockies. Each piece is a testament to the intricate artistry and rich biodiversity found in this awe-inspiring region.
Our creations are more than mere decorations; they are windows into the soul of the wilderness. Every detail, from the layered precision of the laser cuts to the choice of materials, reflects our deep reverence for nature and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
What sets us apart is not just our products, but our philosophy. We believe in sustainability, community, and connection to the land. That's why each animal is not just a representation but a homage to its habitat. Our locations inside the animals pay tribute to the diverse ecosystems that thrive in the Canadian Rockies.
Handmade with care and passion, our pieces carry the essence of the Rockies rugged beauty. But there's more to each creation than meets the eye. Alongside every piece, you'll find a story — a tale of the animal depicted, or a narrative about the area reflected inside the piece. These stories weave a tapestry of knowledge and appreciation for the wilderness that surrounds us.
When you bring home a creation from Ten Peaks Designs, you're not just acquiring a piece of art; you're inviting the wild spirit of the Rockies into your life. Experience the magic of the Canadian Rockies, brought to life by Ten Peaks Designs.
About Us!
We are Chris & Dani!
We are a couple of creative people who just love to build and create things.
Dani is a professional landscape photographer and photo guide in Banff National Park. She runs Banff Photo Workshops & Tours.
She has a passion for the details and the Canadian landscape which she puts towards her design ideas.
Chris is a machinist by trade and enjoys working with his hands.
He is a master at figuring out how to execute the ideas that Dani creates.
Why did we name the business Ten Peaks Designs?
Well, Moraine Lake is one of Dani's favourite places on earth, so much so that she named their dog Tuzo, after one of the peaks.
Mt. Tuzo can be seen in the far right in the logo.
